Γιαπωνέζικο βάζο σε ξύλινη σκαλιστή βάση. A fine exhibition quality Japanese Satsuma pottery vase and stand, the vase decorated to the body with the Kannon Botsatsu, the Japanese Goddess of Mercy surrounded by multiple Rakans / Arhats, with two lion handles, signed to base with the Satsuma koku, probably Hododa, Shimazu family, 46cm high; with fitted finely carved hardwood stand, the pierced frieze finely carved with peony blooms, on four scrolling legs joined by a round stretcher.
