A French Empire Restoration Period c1820, very fine and richly chiseled gilt bronze figural mantle clock, featuring a Romantic scene of two young lovers by the domed clock case, enclosing a gilt metal dial with blued steel hands and winding apertures, standing on a classical plinth base with foliate cast border and scroll feet.
