An early Victorian sterling silver ‘castle top’ card box by Nathaniel Mills, the oblong form with engraved floral scroll borders, the hinged body with applied panel depicting Windsor Castle. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1842 with Victoria’s duty mark. In very good overall condition. Light general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hinge in good working order, lid fits perfectly. The hallmarks are clear and legible. 91X65mm, D7mm, weight:57g
