Frixos Papantoniou was born in Famagusta-Cyprus in 1951. He studied Fine Art at Kingston University (1976-1979) with John Robson and the Institute of Education, University of London (1981-1982). Although making London his home and workplace, he keeps very close contact with his home country, where he shows regularly. He currently lives and works in London. The two linocuts are part of his early work, currently housed at Hambis, Printmaking Museum in Cyprus.
