Ottoman silver belt. Probably created by the silversmiths of Trabzon, Turkey over one hundred years ago. This extraordinary Ottoman belt is an exquisite piece, handwoven from silver wire and attached to an intricately designed filigree, gold washed buckle topped with a cabochon turquoise and an impressed jeweler’s hallmark at the back “HK”. Width of belt 45mm, the buckle 50X100mm, Total length: 87cm, Total weight: 294g.
